Woman has 43 surgeries to look like Barbie; today, people call her a ‘Zombie’.

It should come as no surprise that many people around the world feel dissatisfied with their appearance.

That does not necessarily imply that they are frantic to modify their appearance in any significant way; rather, glancing in the mirror and wishing one’s nose was a little smaller, one’s hair a little less thin, one’s skin a little less blemished is extremely frequent. In many ways, the refusal to be satisfied with our appearance is a particularly human trait, and it appears to have become increasingly prominent since the development of social media.

Of course, some people choose to go above and beyond. You know the type of characters I’m talking about: those that are willing to spend exorbitant sums of money on operations to change their appearance into something different.

Dalia Naeem, a 30-year-old Baghdad native, has spent a fortune trying to achieve an appearance similar to that of a Barbie doll. According to rumors, she is now known as the “Iraqi Barbie,” and she has undergone 43 cosmetic surgeries to imitate Barbie’s appearance.

Dalia works as a presenter and actor in her own country, but she is very active on social media, informing her legion of Instagram fans about her recent developments.

The 30-year-old has over 1 million Instagram followers, many of whom express their delight every time she undergoes surgery or another operation.

Needless to say, Dalia’s transformation has sparked a lot of attention, especially because she’s almost unrecognizable from the woman she was before embarking on her body modification journey.

While Dalia appears to be determined to further alter her appearance, she does have naysayers. Some Instagram commenters branded her a “zombie,” while another referred to her as a “Devil Barbie.”

We feel we would be negligent in our obligations if we did not emphasize unequivocally that no one should ever feel the need to change their appearance. We are all gorgeous just as we are, and our differences are what make us genuinely unique.

However, while Dalia’s journey may not be for everyone, the important point is that she appears to be satisfied with her choices.
