Women Think These Behaviours Attract Men, But They Don’t

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to attraction. Men and women can sometimes do ridiculous things to woo their potential partners. But you have to understand that well-intentioned doesn’t always mean well done. Just as men tend to do things thinking that it makes them look attractive, which may not always work in their favor, women also make mistakes. Let’s look at some behaviors that women mistakenly believe make them attractive in front of men.

1. Need to look perfect

Of course, men are visual creatures, especially when it comes to dating. Looks are to men what emotions and social cues are to women. But they are not the only thing men worry about, and so you shouldn’t worry either. Put effort into your appearance if it makes you happy, but don’t forget that it is much more than just looks.

2. Playing hard to get

Women mistakenly think that if a man likes you, he will stick around for the chase; even when he shows no interest, he will continue to court you. But this behavior is more of a put-off than an attraction.

It can also be seen by some men as a sign that you are insecure and need a man to go above and beyond to prove he wants you.

A man of high value will show interest in you. But if you see that you are not interested, he will not waste his time convincing you that he is worthy of your love.

3. Acting as if you have many men interested in you

Some women think that by acting like they have many men interested in them, they will attract more men.

Sure, competition is supposed to ignite more attraction, but it can quickly go south if it’s overdone.

If you tell a man that you have other men waiting in line to date you, his ego may pressure him to leave or stick around long enough to get the validation he needs.

Some men have fragile egos, and acting like you have a lot of other men interested in you is a mistake that can quickly put them off.

4. Having to be saved or taken care of at all times

As a woman, you may think that men like to be in control and be a shield for you. This makes you play their damsel in distress.

But if you are continually the woman who needs to be rescued, you will only lose your man’s interest in a short time. No one wants a baby attached to an adult body.

Men certainly like to be affectionate and nurturing, but don’t show such behavior on purpose because you think it’s cute or appeals to men’s instincts. If you need support, communicate it, but be mature about it.

5. Act like someone he might love

There’s nothing wrong with trying to show interest in the things a man likes, but if you’re lying about what you love in place of your interests, you’re not being authentic.

Not only does it show that you are not true to yourself, it reeks of desperation.

Be your own person, do your own thing, be confident and own it – men will follow.
