Trembling Elderly Man Asks Pizza Restaurant For Food That Will Be Thrown Out, Manager Says: ‘Make This Man Whatever He Wants’

When a trembling elderly man came into Kelley Square Pizza in Worcester, Massachusetts before closing time, he requested for food that would be thrown away. His request was met with kindness as the manager of the restaurant insisted that he get a freshly-made meal, free of charge.

A mechanic named Mike Alexander in Worcester, was waiting for his pizza to be ready when he noticed an older man enter the pizza shop. The elderly man’s hands were trembling, he leaned on a cane, and he was wearing two coats. Witnessing the manager’s act of kindness, Mike Alexander took the photo of the elderly man and then shared it on social media. He wrote:

“I’m at Kelley square pizza waiting for my pizza to cook, and this little crippled old guy comes in. He’s leaning on this makeshift cane and wearing two coats. His hands are trembling and he’s wondering who is managing.

The man behind the counter replies, and without hesitation tells the other kid to stop cleaning ( they close at 130) The elderly man asks if there’s anything that would be thrown out he could buy cheap.

The manager then tells the kid to make this man whatever he wants. I just want everyone to know that during these tough and crazy times where others in the world are out to hurt and k.i.l.l, theres still a lot of good. There’s a lot of great. Start with yourselves. Open a door, pay for a coffee, pass on some food, donate to something, thank a vet, hang out with the elderly. Anything.”

The manager’s kindness for the hungry old man touched thousands of hearts.

“God bless all of you for your generosity in feeding this elderly man who couldn’t buy himself a warm meal. It’s a tough world we live in and so many people going on notice… You all have a big heart and a blessed soul. I praise those to the highest pedestal for the kindness you are doing. Thank you, God will reward you all,”, one person commented.

Another shared: “Nothing makes me happier than hearing about people being wonderful to other people. Thank you!”

“A man came into the service dept at the dealership I work in and asked if he could borrow a wrench to tighten a battery cable. I said I wasn’t able to loan out the techs tools but I could get that done for him. So we did. A few minutes later he walks back in and asked to use the phone. I said sure. He attempted to contact a guy that he said needed some work done. Turns out the guy ran out of gas right after he left and was calling someone to offer to work for some gas money. He lost his job and home over missing too much time due to illness and was living in the car. I gave him my cash for gas and had one of our guys go get it in a fuel can.” wrote an internet user.
