These dads started a dance group to spread positivity & took over TikTok

A group of fathers received global attention after they decided to surprise their children with a dance routine at a recital.

Today, these famous dads are TikTok stars known as The Outta Puff Daddys.

The fathers first met while taking their children to dance sessions. Since then, they’ve become friends and begun making hilarious dancing routines. Their initial plan was to do a single dance routine at a recital, but the audience’s response was so enthusiastic that they decided to continue performing.

Paul “Jukebox” Jukes, the group’s frontman, stated that their debut dance performance “literally took the roof off.”

“The noise was phenomenal, and of course, the kids in the audience were like, ‘Hang on a second, that’s your dad,'” he told the Good News Network in 2023.

Today, the membership has grown to over 50. These fathers, ranging in age from 40 to 60, utilize their dance to “breaking stereotypes” regarding mental health.

They not only gained a large following on social media, but they also took their shows on the road.

“Our bond provides a real lifeline for our own mental wellness,” the website says. “We break through all stereotypes surrounding traditional masculinity, encouraging others to talk openly about their mental health.”

Their message of “joy and positivity” is shared wherever they perform, and along the way, they encourage their audience to take healthier approaches to mental health.

When dealing with depression, having a support system can help you overcome it, and Paul discovered just that in The Outta Puff Daddys.

“I believe everyone should be constantly underpinning and supporting their mental health— as we all do with our physical health,” Paul said. “So that when those moments arise, we immediately have strategies in place,” he added.

We love watching these daddies’ dance moves, do you?
