The Nun and the Smart GPS

The Nun and the Smart GPS
Two young nuns, Sister Martha and Sister Claire, were driving a modern rental car to a religious conference in a city they had never visited before. The car was equipped with a state-of-the-art, voice-activated GPS navigation system.
Sister Martha, who was driving, was very nervous about the heavy city traffic. Suddenly, the GPS broadcasted a robotic voice: “In 500 feet, turn right onto St. Peter’s Boulevard.”
Sister Martha missed the turn because a large truck blocked her lane. The GPS immediately calculated a new route and said: “Make a U-turn at the next intersection.”
Again, due to the chaotic traffic, Sister Martha couldn’t make the U-turn. She drove straight ahead. The GPS voice updated again, sounding slightly sharper: “Recalculating. In one mile, take the exit for Heaven’s Gate Highway.”
Frustrated and stressed, Sister Martha accidentally drove right through a yellow light, missed the exit, and found herself stuck in a massive traffic jam.
The GPS screen flashed red, and the robotic voice said with a noticeable sigh: “Route lost. Sisters, at this point, your navigation system can no longer help you. Please put the car in park, pull out your rosaries, and pray that the driver behind you has more patience than the Almighty!”
