The Farmer’s Pig Diet
An agricultural official went to a rural area to inspect livestock farming conditions. He stopped by the first farmer’s house and asked, “What do you feed your pigs every day?”
The farmer sighed, “Well, I just feed them leftovers, garbage, and scraps of rotten vegetables.”
The official immediately pulled out his ticket book and issued a fine: “That’s a $500 fine for failing to ensure food safety and for animal cr*elty!”
The official moved on to the second farmer’s house and asked the same question. Having heard about his neighbor’s fine, this farmer quickly replied, “Oh, I only feed them high-end food, lobster, king crab, and shark fin soup!”
