Scientists have shown that death and disability are not only biological, but can also be psychological factors such as loneliness. Loneliness is the lack of meaningful connection to the people you love and fear.

Researchers at the University of California at San Francisco have discovered that loneliness plays a major role in relegation, often associated with aging. The study followed 1,600 adults with an average age of 71 years – despite control of socioeconomic status and health, loneliness kept mortality rates still high. Almost 23% of the isolated participants died less than six years after the study, compared to only 14% of those reporting appropriate fellowship. ”
