Mom Took A Selfie Right After Giving Birth, And This Photo Is Impossible Not To Smile At

Going through any surgery can be a harrowing experience – but one woman managed it with a smile on her face.

Thaise De Mari, who recently gave birth to a baby girl, proves that mother and baby can feel great right after a C-section. The baby girl arrived healthy on December 9, with a length of 19 inches and a weight of 7.5 pounds.

The big moment: Brazilian mom Thaise De Mari shared this selfie taken just minutes after her daughter was born via C-section

Right after the C-section, while still on the operating table, she took her first sausage with the baby and her husband. In a silk snap moments after the baby was carefully removed from the womb, the new mother is seen still lying on the operating table, her partner wearing a surgical mask and gown and holding her new baby up to her face.

This photo is the sweetest we’ve seen since it’s awash with smiles.

In this photo, there is nothing but boundless happiness. The mother, father and the newborn baby girl all look happy.

New arrival: The little girl was born on December 9 at a length of 19 inches and a weight of 7.5 pounds

Thaise, seemingly undeterred by her current state of being under the knife, is seen flashing a beautiful open-mouthed smile for the camera.

She posted the photo on Instagram, where internet users fell in love with a lovely family smiling from ear to ear.

The photo literally went viral.

“And suddenly the photo of my life is unproduced, unresolved, no worries about hair, make-up or angle! Me puffy and with a crying face, daddy with a drooling face and Carmel already showing in the first few seconds what she came for… to make a HAPPY family,” says the caption of the photo posted by Thaise.

Mom and daughter: After the big day, Thaise shared the snap on Instagram with her more than 200,000 followers

To date, the post has been liked more than 29,000 times and attracted nearly 2,000 comments from fans over-the-moon for the young family.

‘Seeing this picture, I can only say that I’m dying of love,’ wrote one user.

Another added: ‘What a beautiful picture! Bless the whole family, may Carmel bring much more light into your lives.’
