Knowing the reason why my husband suddenly behaved well and loved me, I felt bitter and just wanted a quick divorce

When I met my husband, I had just broken up with my first love that lasted more than 5 years. My husband is from the same hometown and has been in love with me unrequitedly for many years, so he knows my love story quite well.

When I was in pain from broken love, he was always by my side, my spiritual support. In the end, I accepted to be his wife, even though I knew I loved him not as much as my ex.

After getting married, I got pregnant right away, but because I worked far away and had work pressure, I gave birth prematurely when I was less than 8 months pregnant. For the past 2 years, my husband has always suspected that the child is not his.

It’s okay to be cheerful and happy, but if he quarrels, gets angry, or sees me talking to another man, he gets jealous and speculates. He always said that he was raising his child, the child was not his biological child but my ex-lover’s child.

Even though I explained a lot and even made a vow of exclusivity, my husband still refused to believe it. Sometimes when he gets drunk, he speaks sarcastically and despises his wife. Living with my husband’s suspicions, I regret even more because the day before I was too hasty in accepting his marriage proposal.

In recent months, my husband’s attitude suddenly changed. He is happy and treats his wife very well. Even if I said something wrong, he would laugh it off. In particular, he pampered his son very much. When you come home from work, you carry your child, play with him, bathe him, feed him, take him shopping, and go out. I thought my husband understood my wife’s feelings and trusted me, so I was very happy.

Yesterday afternoon, while cleaning the house, I accidentally discovered a DNA test paper that my husband had hidden in a drawer. Looking at the test sheet, I was shocked. Unexpectedly, my husband took our son for a test. When he found out that he was indeed his biological son, he changed his attitude, loved and pampered his wife and children.

Knowing the reason for my husband’s change, I was bitter, disappointed, and just wanted a quick divorce. How can a man live happily ever after if he doesn’t respect and trust him? What should I do in this situation now?
