“I Owe Him Everything,” Grandma Says After Heroic Truck Driver Rescues Her From Her Flipped-Over Car…

Carla Long, a grandmother of seven, was driving through Chester County, Pennsylvania, when an ice patch caused her car to slip and tip over. She was hurt as a result of becoming trapped inside the vehicle.

She cried for help and honked the horn of her car, but no one heard her or stopped to help her.

She was saved only after Robert Williams, a truck driver passing by, noticed the wrecked vehicle and went to her aid.

The voice of Robert, who was on the phone with 911 dispatchers to rescue Carla, calmed the frightened grandmother. While he was on the phone with Robert, a truck skidded over the same patch of ice and rushed towards them, nearly colliding with their vehicle and endangering both of their lives.

But before Carla or the police could thank him, Robert fled the scene, and Carla had been trying to identify the guy who had rescued her and thank him ever since.

Carla’s eyes well up with tears as she remembers the horrific incident, and she expresses her desire to embrace him by stating, “I owe him everything.”

Carla was approached by a friend of William’s son, who had seen the tape of the occurrence and was determined to introduce her to the person who had saved her.

After that, she traveled to Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, to see Robert. When she finally got to embrace him, she was overtaken with emotion.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to him for keeping her calm and saved her life by alerting emergency personnel.

Robert’s family joined in on the emotional reunion, and Robert’s wife was overjoyed with her husband’s accomplishments.

She also gave Robert a stuffed animal in the spirit of Christmas as a means of expressing her gratitude; the stuffed animal was intended to be placed under the Christmas tree.
