How To Get Rid Of Flies Quickly (Inside And Outside)

Flies can be pretty annoying because they are constantly around us and we shake hands to make them disappear, but they keep coming!

In addition, they live about a month, during which they multiply constantly, so that the fight against them is anything but easy. Also note that they are fast and fly!

However, there are perfectly effective natural ways to get rid of these annoying pests.

However, they also have their own natural weaknesses. So if you know them, you can easily eliminate them. They are of course required to smell and light their light so that herbs and highly scented essential oils can act as natural repellents.

We offer 4 ways to fight flies in a natural way:

1. Cloves and lemon

Flies hate the smell of cloves, and when you combine them with lemon, you get an effective, safe and natural mosquito net cleaner.

You will need:

lemon

cloves

You should cut the lemon in half and put the cloves in the pulp. Then place the lemon on your table and you will have absolutely no problem with flies!

2. DIY fly protection spray

You can also kill flies with a homemade defense spray. You should avoid commercial repellent sprayers because they are full of chemicals and instead prepare this natural vaporizer. Because of their strong smell, you can use essential oils such as lemongrass and peppermint.

You will need:

2 tablespoons of detergent, diluted

10-12 drops of peppermint essential oil

10-12 drops of lemongrass essential oil

spray

Water – 1 cup

Mix the water and detergent in the spray bottle. Then add 10 to 12 drops of peppermint oil, then 10 to 12 drops of lemongrass oil. Close the spray bottle, shake it to stir it and spray it all over the house. To avoid flies, spray this mixture every 2 weeks.

3. Flytrap DIY

To prepare your own fly trap, you can mix apple cider vinegar and dish soap in a mason jar. You can also put a chopped and rotted fruit in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and drill several holes.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a fermented apple juice. When you add the detergent soap, the surface tension of the liquid breaks and the flies flow as soon as they touch it.

You will need:

2 cups of cider vinegar

A tablespoon of liquid detergent

pot

plastic sheet

toothpick

Pour the apple cider vinegar into the storage jar, add the detergent soap and stretch a piece of plastic film over the mouth of the jar. Then use a toothpick to score points.

Then place the trap in the house or in the yard, and the flies are attracted by the attraction of smells and light because of their strong affinity. In addition, the strong smell attracts them into the trap.

The plastic sheet serves as a wall and they can not find the holes and escape because there is no strong smell that can restore them. Once there are a lot of dead flies inside, clean the boat.

On the other hand, flies are not killed by the trap with overripe or rotten fruits, but they are successfully captured. It is also much easier to just put the fruit in the bowl.

You will need:

Fruit, overripe or lazy

dish

scissors

plastic sheet

toothpick

Peel the fruits and cut the small ones. Put it in the bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Tighten well above the bowl. Drill holes with the toothpick. If the trap is filled with flies, soak it in soapy water for a few minutes to destroy it. Then wash it and use it again.

4. Lavender essential oil

Lavender can also be used as an effective mosquito repellent because of its intense scent. You can use it on a sponge and make it waterproof.

You will need:

Lavender essential oil

sponge

Glass or box with lid

You must apply a few drops of lavender oil on the sponge and then place them in the pot. Lock it and let it sit for several hours or until the next morning to concentrate the smell. Then you can open it a little and place it where flies are needed in the house.

Additional tips:

The bowls in which you put the bad apples must be well cleaned because they might smell disgusting
Wash the Mason container with hot, soapy water before using it
You can also use eucalyptus and citronella essential oils to repel flies and other insects
Prepare a potpourri of the dry herbs of peppermint, lavender, and lemongrass and effectively deter flies
If you have a garden, you can plant lavender, lemongrass, and peppermint, and have them always at hand.
