In recent years, Carole Middleton and Princess Beatrice have followed Princess Kate’s fashion trends.

The Princess of Wales has worn dresses from the British label Self Portrait on numerous occasions, including engagements and family events, since her first appearance in 2016.

Her mother, Carole Middleton, 69, has already joined the trend, wearing one of their creations at Royal Ascot last month.

The £175 silk dress is light blue and floor-length, and it looked stunning on the mother of three.

Princess Beatrice, whose first cousin Prince William is married to Kate, has also embraced the Self Portrait trend in recent years.

In 2022, Beatrice attended a Buckingham Palace garden party in a Self Portrait dress with a check print, a fit and flare silhouette, and a round neckline topped with a dainty pink bow.

In 2017, Beatrice wowed in a semi-sheer dress from the British label with a navy blue overlay and a body-skimming shape.

Self Portrait, founded in 2013 by Malaysian-born designer Han Chong, has gained popularity for its contemporary designs.

Their trademark lace dresses, structured silhouettes, and subtle accents provide a modern twist on traditional royal attire.

Pippa Middleton and Meghan Markle are among the royals who have worn the British label.

In 2017, Pippa wore a Self Portrait sheer lace pink dress to Wimbledon.

The brand’s take on the see-through dress trend was ideal for Kate’s sister, who often prefers traditional, often conservative, shapes.

She accessorized the look with neutral shoes, a grey suede clutch, and ZanZan’s enormous cat eye sunglasses.

In April 2018, just one month before marrying Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex attended an event at the Australian High Commission to celebrate the upcoming Sydney Invictus Games.

Meghan donned a green Self Portrait flowery dress with a pleated skirt, a low neckline, and cut-out detailing on the bodice.
