My daughter entered the hospital with a blanket covering what everyone thought was her infant, but when she showed everyone what she had brought in, the doctors and nurses were speechless! Check out what she was hiding.
Shelbey Hennick is the ideal grandchild. This kind 21-year-old young lady always manages to make her grandmother smile. But this time, it appeared that she would have to put in a little more work to elevate gorgeous grandmother Donna’s attitude. The poor woman became ill and ended up in the hospital. Shelbey realized she had to do everything she could to cheer up her loving grandmother.
She had a lot of great ideas, but one of them couldn’t be surpassed popped up.
Although what she had in mind was a little complicated, she was eager to carry out her plan of bringing Donna’s best friend Patsy to visit. Patsy is the nicest little dog, and this grandmother adores him.
Shelby told Inside Edition a poignant story about Donna. She took the puppy in when it was a baby and cared for her from the moment she entered her home. Patsy became an integral part of Donna’s life, from bottle feeding to ensuring she has the most comfortable life possible for a puppy.
“She’s had this dog forever, and this dog is her baby. She was small enough to fit in the palm of her hand.”
Everything unfolded like a movie scene. Shelby did something amusing when she didn’t have time to get authorization from a veterinarian to bring Patsy to the hospital.
She covered Patsy in a blanket and entered the hospital, fooling the personnel into believing she was caring for a baby.
She told Inside Edition that she wasn’t too concerned about the consequences.
“It was just so spur-of-the-moment and I didn’t have time to go to my grandma’s veterinarian’s office… Nobody would have stopped me to see my baby. The worst they could have told me was to leave.”
Donna’s reaction to seeing her pet was immediate and positive.
“It made her a lot happier. She wasn’t feeling very good and it made her more relaxed. She did go home the next day. Medically, it didn’t have anything to do with Patsy, but I’m still thinking it had a little bit to do with her.”
