A little girl attended a wedding with her mother for the very first time. As the beautiful bride started floating down the aisle, the curious little girl tugged on her mom’s sleeve and whispered, “Mommy, why is the bride wearing all white?”
The mother smiled warmly and whispered back, “Because white is the color of pure joy, sweetheart. Today is officially the happiest day of her entire life.”
The little girl nodded thoughtfully and turned her attention back to the altar, carefully studying the couple for a long moment.
Then, she leaned back in and whispered:
“So… why is the groom wearing solid black?”
