In a small courtroom, the atmosphere was tense.
The judge looked down at the defendant — a woman with a visibly irritated expression.
He asked calmly:
— Did you slap this man?
The woman immediately shook her head, answering firmly:
— No, Your Honor.
The man standing beside her couldn’t hold back. He raised his voice:
— She’s lying! She slapped me!
A murmur spread through the courtroom. Just as the judge was about to restore order, the woman snapped, turning sharply toward the man, eyes blazing:
— You better shut up!
She paused for a second, then added angrily:
— Or I’ll give you another one right now!
The room fell silent… then burst into laughter.
The judge sighed and shook his head.
