Through the years, Ivanka has been very close with her father. But she also kept a big secret from him when she was younger. And recently, she made a joke about him that the Washington Post labeled as a “cringey”…
Ivanka Trump is undoubtedly accustomed to being in the spotlight. Her father has been a well-known businessman and television personality all of her life. Most recently, of course, he served as the 45th President of the United States.

With high standards in the family, Ivanka and her siblings attended great schools, then going on to forge their own careers inside the mighty Trump empire.
Ivanka has pretty much done it all, everything from modeling to creating her own brands. However, she now stands at a crossroads. Having been an advisor in the White House, the question is what will she do in the future?
At the same time as handling her professional career, Ivanka’s also married husband Jared Kushner and raised her children. Still, it feels like there is much more to come from her in the future.
Ivanka has been very close to her father throughout her life. But she actually kept one big secret from him when she was younger. The fact that Jared Kushner was the first guy she introduced to Donald Trump might give you a clue.
How, therefore, did Ivanka become an advisor to the White House? And how did she manage to raise her kids while running with her father in 2016? Here is everything you need to know about Ivanka Trump, Trump’s well-known daughter!
Ivanka Trump – early life
Ivanka Trump was born in Manhattan, New York City, on October 30, 1981. She grew raised with her well-known parents, Ivana Trump, a Czech-American model, and Donald Trump. Ivana and Donald were divorced when Ivanka was just ten years old. With the divorce and a 13-month court battle over the financial settlement, it was a chaotic time in the young girl’s life. Ivana ultimately received a $25 million settlement and was granted a divorce on the grounds of “cruel and inhumane treatment.” There was $10 million in cash. Ivanka was sent to boarding school after the divorce.
After attending the Chapin School, she transferred to Wallingford, Connecticut’s prestigious Choate Rosemary Hall at the age of 15.
At this point in her life, she wasn’t really a rebel. However, there were times when her mother didn’t like what she was doing.
“I think my mom threatened to put me up for adoption a few times,” she told Marie Claire in 2007.
Ivanka Trump – modeling career
Ivanka and two other girls shared a room at Coate Rosemary Hall. She was seen as a typical adolescent in most respects, but a few things were unusual. Ivanka was the only student on school with a car and a mobile. Despite her belief that she was a great student, she found school life difficult.
She said, “All of my friends in New York were having fun, and all of a sudden I was in the prison of boarding-school life.” Despite the Trump family’s affluence, Ivana wanted Ivanka to be self-sufficient. She made threats to force her to for her own phone expenses. Ivanka made the decision to start earning her own money at that point.
Ivanka originally modelled for Versace, and she was featured on the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1997.
Ivanka claims that modelling was not her ultimate goal. The deed itself wasn’t anything I truly enjoyed. It’s a brutal sector, and the people you encounter there are equally as difficult as those in real estate.

“I travelled using it as a justification. She went on, “I used it to break up the monotony.” “It was fantastic, but at this point in my life, it is a bothersome source of confusion. I still get asked, “How’s modelling going?” all the time. They remember me like way, and I would like to be a little more serious than that, hehe!
She remembers looking out of a friend’s window one day.
“There was this sort of gap where there should have been a beautiful tower, and it was this gorgeous cityscape,” she said. Ivanka made the decision that she would one day rule New York City, as she is a real New Yorker.
Ivanka Trump continued her education for two years at Georgetown University. After that, she transferred to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she earned a B.A. in economics in 2004. Ivanka began working for millionaire developer Bruce Ratner after graduating.
She left to work for the family business just a year later. She was now wanted to be on The Apprentice by both her father and producer Mark Burnett. She was certain at first that it wasn’t for her. But after a while, she gave in.
“I knew it couldn’t be about my father alone for ‘Trump’ to be sustainable,” she explains. “It must be about us as a family in a larger context, and shows like The Apprentice serve as a vehicle for that. That’s the reason I did it.
Ivanka Trump left boyfriend James Gubelmann at the same time that her professional career began. At the Trump Organisation, she rose swiftly to the position of Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions. In 2007, she met her husband, Jared Kushner, at a networking lunch. After dating for a while, the pair got married at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey in 2009.
Kept big secret from Donald Trump
Ivanka may not have had many secrets from her father, but she did always keep one major secret. She never brought her boyfriends to Donald Trump; they were as if they didn’t exist. Why, one would wonder? Ivanka Trump was quoted by the Express as saying, “I was too smart to bring home a date or a boyfriend.” Jared Kushner was actually the first person to meet Daddy Donald. You may say that their relationship was extremely unique based only on those factors.
She said, “I believe I brought my husband home, that’s all ‒ he wasn’t my husband at the time.” “But unless I was absolutely certain, I wasn’t going to expose boyfriends to my mother’s or father’s scrutiny.”
In 2011, Ivanka and Jared received a daughter, Arabella Rose; in 2013, they welcomed a son, Joseph Frederick; and in 2016, they welcomed Theodore James, their third child.

Naturally, maintaining all of these activities at the same time was difficult. At the moment, Ivanka declared, “My life is chaotic right now.” Ninety percent of the time, I am exhausted. The most fulfilling experience is being a mother, but it’s also the most unpredictable and demanding.
Naturally, Donald was elected president in 2016. Along with her brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and spouse, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump immediately found a role in her father’s administration. “The education and economic empowerment of women and their families as well as job creation and economic growth through workforce development, skills training, and entrepreneurship” were the main areas of concentration for her work as an advisor.
In 2019, Ivanka also spoke on behalf of her father at Gridiron’s dinner, a 134-year-old custom that allows politicians, media, and other prominent people to socialise and make fun of each other. In 2019, Ivanka Trump and her husband attended the celebrations in Donald Trump’s place.
Ivanka entered the stage in front of the 700+ guests and said: Ivanka then attacked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her call to transition away from fossil fuels and create millions of green jobs, saying, “When my father asked me just this afternoon to represent him tonight — no, this isn’t a joke — to represent him tonight, I didn’t have time to write any jokes.” “I was afraid that reading you passages from the Green New Deal would be the funniest thing I could do.” As if being Donald Trump’s daughter wasn’t the hardest job in the world, Ivanka Trump went on to say that she was chastised for pushing others to work despite being born into privilege, to which she received a “cringeworthy laugh.”
Ivanka Trump was the target of harsh criticism after serving in the White House with her father for four years. Ivanka’s business was accused by a San Francisco apparel firm in August 2020 of “improperly leveraging the power of the White house for private profit.”
Employees of her company were accused of “piggy-backing promotion” of the company’s products at government events and “exploiting the power and prestige of the White House for personal gain,” according to a lawsuit filed in the California Superior Court, as reported by USA Today.
But according to John Coffee, a professor at New York City’s Columbia Law School, the case “wasn’t very strong,” USA Today reported. In the present day, Donald Trump has resigned from the White House after losing the election to Joe Biden. Ivanka Trump was quite upset at his final speech as president at Joint Base Andrews, which is located just outside of Washington, D.C., and cameras captured her emotions.
Nobody really knows what Ivanka Trump’s future holds.
She has been rumoured to be getting more involved in politics and maybe running for president in the 2024 election. Ivanka is anticipated to take a break after leaving the White House, a former White House official told Politico. Whatever happens, we will undoubtedly learn more about Ivanka Trump in the upcoming months as she makes her future intentions public.
