One day in 1995 John Clark returned home from work to find his wife Eileen and three children (ranged in age from two to seven) were nowhere to be found.
Eileen left a note that explained his wife and kids decided to take a sudden vacation.
Yet, none of them ever came back their home in New Mexico.
John never gave up the search to find his children and Eileen was eventually added to the most wanted list by the FBI.
FBI agents, private investigators, and lawyers spent 15 years working before finally providing John with some answers regarding the whereabouts of his family. By this time, John’s story had gained the attention of people across the globe.
John’s wife and children were in good health and had not been harmed. They were living in London.
Shortly afterward, Eileen answered a knock at the door and was greeted by police officers on the other side of the door. They possessed a warrant for her arrest and informed her she would be extradited to America. She would spend two full days in jail before being released.
According to Eileen, she had been in constant contact with authorities and claims they knew the whereabouts of her and her children the entire time.
After that, the situation became bitter between John and Eileen. Eileen claimed he was abu$ive and she escaped to make sure she and her children are safe.
John said the allegations were untrue and expressed anger at being denied fifteen years of his children’s life. He also says he takes exception to the lies Eileen has told the children about him.
John has been reunited with two of his three children. They are adults now Their incredible story was shown to the public recently on the Dr. Phil show.
